The facade of the slate - a rectangular double wall.

Rectangular double slab of slate is one of the most popular types of scaly coating, both for modern roofs and for facades. This type of slate installation is in harmony with any architecture and gives every roof or facade a natural charm.

This type of coating can be adapted to any geometric surface. Regardless of whether the object is new construction or this reconstruction - the facade of slate in a rectangular double masonry is extremely durable, durable and surprisingly inexpensive due to the rational use of slate plates during installation.

The visual impression of the house is extremely important if you are building a house for yourself or your loved ones or you want to sell real estate - the facade, like the roof, is an integral part of any building, and they are exposed to wind, rain, heat and frost, therefore more reliable and the more durable the coating, the more valuable the entire structure will become, especially if the finishing coating is slate.

Installation of slate is made by two methods:

The first method is mounting on a nail or on a screw.
This type of slate installation is more economical from the point of view of slate consumption per m2 as compared to mounting on klyammer, since there is an opportunity to independently install the slate overlap, but on the other hand it is more laborious, as there is a need to make holes in the tile for a nail.

The second method of mounting on klyammer.
This method is more expensive in terms of slate consumption per m2 of clean surface area of the facade, since the pitch and slate overlap in height is set by the length of the cleat, and it is at least 6 cm.

If you compare the two tables, the one below and the one at the top you can see a slight difference in the consumption of material, namely a greater amount of slate per m2 and wooden slats.

Mounting the slate on the clamp is easier compared to mounting on a nail, but also more expensive in terms of material consumption per m2, although by and large the difference is insignificant if calculated in conjunction with the work.

Rectangular double masonry slate on the facade is one of the most ancient methods of using slate. The installation of slate on the clasp, both on the facade and on the roof, is inherent in the French, Spaniards and Scandinavian countries, while the Germans, the British and the Austrians absolutely do not recognize this method of mounting slate, they follow their traditions and ancestral experience.
