In an era characterized by a bustling pace and high technology, permanent values and traditions have a special meaning. Architecture as an expression of our attitude towards life and as a cultural standard is undoubtedly one of these specific values. It connects tradition with the future, aesthetics with functionality. And here natural materials are becoming increasingly important - slate is one of them.
Different types of coatings and excellent quality of slate, harmonize with all architectural styles, ranging from classical structures to modern architecture, thanks to constructive solutions for the use of slate on roofs and facades.
As a result of advanced stone processing, precious slate building material has become the best value for money over the past few years. Comparing the cost of acquiring shale and its service life over 100 years, it is extremely economical. The development of effective styling methods, such as dynamic laying, means that today, anyone can afford to use slate in construction. In addition, the roof or facade made from this traditional European material is something special, because, as is the case with all natural products, every slate tile is unique.
What is the dynamic form of laying slate on the facade of the building?

The attractive appearance of the dynamic form of laying shale is achieved by an irregular sequence of different height rows of tiles. In addition, the repetition of vertical joints (seams) in the form of a grid is eliminated, which makes the surface of the structure dynamic.

This form of laying natural slate creates a very vivid image of the facade with an individual, powerful and full of natural beauty of the surface.

The variety and uniqueness of each stone allows effectively, depending on the position of the sun and light, to change the perception of the facade and at the same time to understand its uniqueness.

Dynamic laying of natural slate is made of rectangular tiles of different height and the same length, in some cases, to achieve even greater savings in the cost of the facade, residues or slow-moving positions of slate tiles are purchased.
The basis for the installation of slate on the facade is a solid flooring of edged boards with a minimum section of 30 mm., 120-150 mm wide. and arbitrary long. A solid foundation for laying the slate in a dynamic form is a necessary and technically necessary condition, as the installation is made from slate tiles of different height formats.

Laying slate in a dynamic format implies arbitrary installation of slate tiles, for example, take the format 400 x 250 mm .. This tile format can be used in two versions:
- First: use the whole tile (400x250), 1/2 (400x125) and 1/3 (400x80)
- Second: use only two sizes of the above.

When installing the dynamic facade of the slate, you must adhere to the following recommendations:

- Minimum tile length of at least 125 mm.
- Minimum overlap height 40 - 50 mm.
- Docking seam between tiles 3-5 mm.
- The minimum offset of each row is 50 mm.
- Using a docking bar at the seams
- The minimum width of the docking plate is 100 mm.
- Use of durable material at the junction (aluminum, copper, titanium - zinc or EPDM)
- Fastening the slate to produce on screws or klyammera not susceptible to corrosion
- The longer the tile, the more fasteners, the average pitch of fastening every 100 mm.
- Use a diffusion membrane as a windbreak (if necessary)

Many customers ask the question: is it possible to install the slate without using docking inserts - the answer is possible, but in this case it is necessary to use whole tiles, which will inevitably lead to waste of material and, consequently, to an increase in the cost of the entire facade.

Dynamic laying of slate on the facade of any building - develops creative possibilities and it is designed specifically not only for modern architecture, but also for the reconstruction of old buildings to give them a second life. The facade of the building of dynamic masonry, resembles its appearance multi-layered scales and perfectly reveals the natural strength of the slate and fascinates with its unusual appearance.
